|
| |
| Reports draw and narrate scores on each of these scales under the headings of:
People and communication
Influencing, leadership, team-working
Intellectual judgment
Decision-making, change
Task orientation and drive
Organisation, dealing with pressure, motivation
Style scales
In addition to these scales, Identity uses 4 style scales to assess how objectively the respondent has completed the questionnaire.
Derived scales
Identity also reports on derived scales
such as learning orientation, team-roles
and Jungian Type. This saves clients
money and time as there is less need
to have candidates sit multiple tests.

you have your own Identity System.

Narrative
Report
This report is written in second
or third person depending on
whether you are using it as
a feedback report for the candidate
or for the decision-maker. Text-based
narrative reports are the only
type of report available to
untrained users. All other reports/graphics
require a certification.

Quick
Look Page
This gives an indication as
to the accuracy of the candidate's
responses and shows you where
you need to focus for additional
probing in an interview. For
this fake candidate, the report
tells us we need to probe on
every competency! For other
candidates you may see "Strong"
and/or "OK" in place
of "Further Probing".

Profile
Chart
This is the first page of a
2-page chart which provides
the candidate's score for each
scale in Identity. Labels and
descriptions on either side
assist in accurate interpretation
of each scale score.
Pre-Interview
Report
This is a sample page from Identity's
Pre-Interview Report. Personality
test reports should be followed
up with a good behavioral interview.
This report assists in this
process by providing example
questions to ask the candidate
based on their profile.
The above are
just a few examples of pages
from Identity reports. Identity
offers a number of different
reports: Pre-Interview, Comprehensive,
Career Focus and Candidate Feedback.
Unlike other psychometric personality
tests, clients only pay once
for the candidate rather than
for each report generated. To

Provides a wealth of useful information in a short space of time
Identity provides a great deal of useful information clearly related to work competence. It is a fast and efficient way to extrapolate information and to understand an individual’s work behaviours and preferences, without needing protracted interviews or other lengthy measures.
Objective in nature
Outputs from Identity are objective in the sense that they are obtained using a robust and valid instrument that is administered via a standardised procedure.
More accurate picture of a person
Related to the above point, the Identity model of personality has been developed rigorously using psychological knowledge. Everyday models of how people behave tend to be formed on the basis of simpler, broader interpersonal perceptions that we tend to make of people during social encounters.
Relative measurements
As Identity scores are compared with a large professional group, the measurements are relative to other people.
Related to work performance
Part of the research undertaken to justify the validity of Identity focuses on real behaviour in the workplace. This research demonstrates that the profile not only provides an accurate picture of how people behave, but also how this is related to performance, leadership style, role in a team, etc.
Fairness & Equity
Identity provides a platform for candidates to demonstrate a wider range of qualities and attributes. Some of these cannot always be measured by other means and may not be evident at interview.
Fast and Precise
Identity was developed to be one of the most versatile and comprehensive personality tools available. It provides the sharpest and most concise measurement of personality, yet still only takes 20 to 30 minutes to complete. Understanding and feedback is easier than with other questionnaires because Identity scale labels relate directly to the meaning of the scale.
Online and offline administration
Identity can be administered online or using traditional paper-and-pencil methodology.

Qualifications
for Independent Use and Full Access to All
Report Options
In order to use Identity independently,
you must be appropriately trained. To be
a qualified user for Identity, you need
to have undergone PsyAsia’s Identity
accreditation workshop or hold the BPS
Level B Certificate of Competence in
Occupational Testing (also offered by PsyAsia)
or an international equivalent. Alternatively,
if you have certification in a similar test
and can prove your competence,
you may convert to Identity without further
training. Alternatively, please consider
using our Psychologist-on-Call™
Service.
Limited supervised use and reports
for untrained clients
PsyAsia is also able to provide a text-only
interpretive report for clients who are
not qualified in personality assessment
and who do not wish to become so or use
or consultancy services. The report is computer-generated
based on the professional interpretation
of the publishers, UK Chartered Psychologists.
We however continue to strongly advise that
clients become certified in Identity to
enable full independent use of the test
based on a firm grounding, multiple graphical
reports, the ability to have their own Identity
Online system (no fee) and because trained
users pay substantially less per candidate
(up to 66% less) yet get much more in terms
of available reports! |
